Reva Marlene Anderson, 89, of rural Dallas City, Illinois, passed away at 12:54 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at her home.

Reva was born on June 22, 1931 near Livonia, Missouri, the daughter of Finis and Chloe (Mathes) Anderson. On December 26, 1954 she married Wendell Dean Anderson in Queen City, Missouri. He preceded her in death on January 24, 2002.

Reva was a graduate of Queen City High School. Reva worked as a homemaker until her children were grown. She then worked as a Payroll Manager for the Fort Madison Health Center.

Reva was a member of the Durham United Methodist Church and a devoted St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan.

Survivors include three sons. Roger Anderson of Summerville, South Carolina, David Anderson and Gary Anderson both of rural Dallas City; one daughter, Joann Anderson of rural Dallas City; seven grandchildren, Auston, Aaron, Jenna, Julie, Tanner, Tucker and Mackenzie; three great-grandchildren, Reid, Lucas and Ava; two step great-grandchildren, Jackson and Madison; two brothers, Howard and Paul and one sister, Joyce Cassidy all of Missouri.

Reva was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and three brothers.

All family and friends are welcome to attend a graveside service Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Durham Cemetery with Rev. Jim Clayton officiating. Friends may call as they desire on Friday from 2:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe.
