Potowonok Circle annual fundraiser Dec. 17

FORT MADISON - Potowonok Circle of King’s Daughters invites you to help us continue to help the community we live in. We are having a fundraiser dinner and raffle with the theme of “Home for the Holidays” this month. The Tenderloin Dinner will be at the Elks Club on Dec 17 from 5 to 8 pm. The Elks have generously donated the use of their facility for this event with all dinner proceeds going to our Circle. 

The $10 basket meals will include your choice of a Tenderloin or Cheeseburger, French fries, and a delicious cookie. This event will be TAKE-OUT only. Orders can be placed by calling the Elks Club at 319-372-3724 in advance or the night of. The Elks Club is located at 719 Ave H in Fort Madison and can be accessed via the alley behind the Club. Parking is in the City Lot just west of the Club and there will be some carry-out parking spaces reserved in the alley directly behind the Elks Club.

Raffle tickets are available for sale now through the drawing that will be held at the end of the evening on Dec 17th. Three prize packs are being raffled off with over $800 in total value. Top prize is a 50in Fire Smart TV plus a weighted blanket and some goodies to enjoy in front of your new TV, 2nd is a weighted blanket plus a family fun night pack with games and kid friendly treats, 3rd is a Home for the Holidays basket featuring items from Harvestville Farms. Potowonok Circle of King’s Daughters is a not-for-profit organization concerned with community service and aids those in need. We support several valuable initiatives in Fort Madison and surrounding communities including Adopt-a-Family, Scholarships to SCC, and funds for classroom and school needs, providing volunteers to help deliver Meals-on-Wheels and conduct vision screenings at area schools, along with many other projects as needs arise.
