The Lady Hounds would outscore Mediapolis 17-7 in the third period behind eight points from Ross and four each from Camille Kruse and Brandy Walker.

Fort Madison then stretched the lead to 10 with five minutes to go in the game and pulled away from there.

Kruse finished with 13 on the night a season-high for her. Walker finished with eight points and Nadia Boeding added a free throw in the win to round out the Hounds scoring.

Hallie Mohr had 22 for the Bulldogs who suffered their first loss of the year after getting wins over Pekin, Holy Trinity and WACO.
