Charles E. Rippenkroeger, 53,of Phoenix, AZ and formerly of Ft. Madison passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 8:18 PM in his sleep at his home.

   He was born on April 29, 1967 in Ft. Madison to Charles and Cathy Columbus Rippenkroeger.  Charles graduated from Ft. Madison High School in 1985.  He worked at W.L. Woolworths after high school and whenever needed.  He studied auto mechanics at SCC and obtained his Mechanics certificate and enjoyed a career in auto repair.  Charles moved to Arizona in 1986 and loved spending time with his family, grandson and friends.  He also enjoyed fishing and rebuilding classic cars.

   Survivors include two sons, Charles Rippenkroeger of Parkville, MO and Kenneth Rippenkroeger of Phoenix, AZ; two daughters, Christina and Brianna Rippenkroeger both of Phoenix; his mother, Cathy Lovett of Ft. Madison; two brothers, Randy (Janet) Rippenkroeger of New London, IA and Carl (Sarah) Rippenkroeger of Ft. Madison; two sisters, Becky (Warren)Hoenig and Penny (Max)Hoenig both of Ft. Madison and a grandson, Koletyn Rippenkroeger of Phoenix, AZ; his ex wife, Kerry Young and Sephanie Wymore, the mother of three of his children.  He was preceded in death by his Dad, Charles and a sister, Cathy Sue.

    Per his wishes, cremation has been entrusted.  There will be a Celebration of Life held in spring of 2021.  King-Lynk Funeral Home is assisting the family and online condolences may be left at www.kinglynk.com
