Iowa Fertilizer donates $10K in food items to Food Pantry

WEVER- OCI Iowa Fertilizer Company recently donated thousands of pounds of nonperishable items to the Fort Madison Food Pantry and Keokuk Food Pantry to help residents and families in need. The company's donation is valued at approximately $10,000.

"OCI Iowa Fertilizer Company and our employees are proud to continue our partnership with the Fort Madison Food Pantry and Keokuk Food Pantry to help ensure all of our neighbors, particularly during the holiday season, have the food and resources they need," said OCI Iowa Fertilizer Company's Plant Manager Robb Aultman. "As the global health pandemic continues to impact Lee County, it is more important than ever that we come together to help people who have had their lives disrupted. OCI Iowa Fertilizer Company looks forward to continuing to support a wide range of causes in the area that will help achieve that goal."

Over the past several years, OCI Iowa Fertilizer Company has contributed to a number of local charitable groups and other organizations in southeast Iowa, including the school districts in Fort Madison, Keokuk, and Central Lee, Wever Fire and Rescue, the public libraries in Donnellson, Fort Madison, Mt. Pleasant, Keokuk, and Burlington, Goodwill of the Heartland, Southeastern Community College, the Fort Madison Community Hospital, UnityPoint Health in Keokuk, and more.
