Charles "Charlie" G. Harrison of Dallas City, IL passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, with family by his side.

He was born on October 28, 1932 in Pontoosuc, IL, the son of George and Reah (Wilcox) Harrison. He married Delores "Dee" Harrison on October 7, 1960 in Burlington, IA.

Charlie owned his own construction company and hep build many structures around the area, including the Great River Bridge in Burlington, Iowa. His favorite project was the home he built for his big family. He enjoyed painting and creating various types of artwork and always loved being around family and friends.

Charlie was an avid outdoorsman and had a love for collecting arrowheads and Indian artifacts at his cabin along the banks of the Mississippi River. He enjoyed duck hunting, fishing, feedings all types of wildlife and walking in nature.

Charlie was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years – Dee Harrison, on grandson – Ryan Marsden, one great grandson – Duncan Stevens and recently his close cousin Marvin Siegfried.

Charlie is survived by his family, Theresa Marsden (Kirby), of Niota, IL; Brent Harrison of Dallas City, IL; Cheri Stevens (David) of Dallas City, IL; Julie Nudd (David) of Dallas City, IL; and Stacie Harrison of Bonita Springs, FL. Charlie is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one brother Gary Harrison and family.

A private graveside service will be held at Pontoosuc Cemetery in Pontoosuc, IL at later date.
