Jereldene Muenzenmaier, 92, of Dallas City, Illinois, passed away at 3:44 a.m. Monday, December 28, 2020 at the Fort Madison Community Hospital.

Jereldene was born on March 15, 1928 near Bucklin, Missouri the daughter of Charlie and Trella (Carriker) Neff. On September 13, 1986 she married Frank Muenzenmaier. He preceded her in death on December 11, 2015.

Jereldene enjoyed watching birds, dogs and cats. She also enjoyed tending to her flowers and doing crafts, especially painting.

Survivors include three chldren, Rebecca Murphy of Dallas City, Jeff (Cindy) Manning of West Point, Iowa and Gary (Teresa) Manning of Fort Madison, Iowa; nine grandchildren, John Rhondes III, Angela Rhodes, Jessica Pietz, Samantha Morris, James Imthurn, Garrett Grelk, Lauren Grelk, Brandon Manning and Joseph Manning; 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister Violet (Wes) Brown of San Antonio, Texas.

In addition to her husband, Frank, also preceding her in death are two sisters, Leona and Bonnie and one brother, Charles.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Harris Cemetery, near Dallas City. No visitation is planned.
