William “Bill” Allen Trimble, 62, of Keokuk, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.

Bill was born on September 22, 1958, in Keokuk, Iowa, the son of the late Allen Trimble and Delora (Schafer) Trimble Jones. On June 10, 1977, he was united in marriage to Rachael D. Glasgow in Alexandria, Missouri. She survives.

Bill owned the Keokuk CarQuest for fifteen years, before his employment at O’Reilly Auto Parts for nineteen years. He was currently employed at T.O. Haas in Keokuk, where he had worked for seven years. He was a car enthusiast, taking his custom 1970 Chevelle to car shows around the area. He also enjoyed participating in local car cruises and building custom motorcycles. Bill had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to share it with everyone around him. He will always be remembered for his willingness to lend a helping hand. Above all else, Bill loved his family dearly.

Bill is survived by his wife Rachael of Keokuk; his daughter Raegan (Sean) Swainey of Keokuk; four grandchildren: Kaelan, Lucas, Sadie and Adalynn Swainey; his sister Jodie (Jack) Celania of Keokuk; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation without the family present will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021, from 3 to 7 pm at DeJong-Greaves-Printy Funeral Home in Keokuk. A private family service will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.

Memorials may be directed to the Keokuk City Animal Services or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
