01/02/21 - 8:33 p.m. - Fort Madison Police cited Suzanne Schmitz, 56, of Fort Madison, in the 900 block of 48th Street, on a charge of driving while suspended.
01/02/21 - 8:40 p.m. - Fort Madison Police cited Roy Vowels, 31, of Fort Madison, in the 3300 block of Bluff Road, on a charge of driving while barred.
01/03/21 - 1:37 a.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Jason Michael Fortune, 46, of Fort Madison, in the 1100 block of Avenue I, on charges of public intoxication, 3rd-degree harassment. He was released on a promise to appear.
01/03/21 - 12:04 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 6100 block of Reve Court.
01/03/21 - 2:22 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 800 block of Avenue E.

Lee County Sheriff's Report
12/29/20 - 12:22 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 1800 block of Hwy. 61. A vehicle driven by Angela Lamb, 53 of Fort Madison, slowed to avoid an accident in front of her. A second vehicle driven by Tyler Anthony Maddox, 23, of Burlington, slowed to avoid the accident as well, but was unable to maintain control on heavy snow covered roads, and struck Lamb's vehicle. Both vehicles were driven from the scene and no injuries or citations were reported.
12/30/20 - 7:41 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident in the 2700 block of County 103. A vehicle driven by Garett Levi McMillan, 24, of West Burlington, lost control and entered the south ditch striking multiple fence posts. The driver fled the scene and the vehicle was towed. No citations or injuries were reported.
12/30/20 - 10:07 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Nicholas Drew McAlister, 32, of Burlington, on a court-ordered hold. He was taken to Lee County Jail and released on his recognizance.
12/31/20 - 11:25 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Tiffany Dawn Turpin, 40, of Farmington, in the 1900 block of 253rd Street, on warrants for failure to appear, criminal mischief-2nd degree, and criminal mischief-4th degree. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
12/31/20 - 11:33 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Westley Forrest Grace, 31, of Keokuk, in the 1600 block of Timea Street in Keokuk, on a warrant for contempt of court. He was taken to Lee County Jail and released on his recognizance.
12/31/20 - 11:46 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Justin John Althide, 43, of Warsaw, Ill., in the 1600 block of Timea Street in Keokuk, on a warrant for failure to appear and charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He was taken to Lee County Jail and released on bond.
12/31/20 - 3:45 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jerry Myer Caviness, 47, of Wyaconda, Mo., at the sheriff's office, on four warrants for failure to appear. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
12/31/20 - 11:06 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Derrell Glasper, 29, of Burlington, in the 2300 block of Harper Lane in Fort Madison, on a charge of simple assault and domestic abuse assault. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
12/31/20 - 10:30 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident in the 5800 block of Bluff Road in Fort Madison. A vehicle driven by Travis Alexander Hanson, 24, of Burlington, swerved to miss an animal and lost control flipping into the north ditch landing on its top. No injuries or citations were reported.
01/01/21 - 1:52 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested a 15-year-old male juvenile, at the SE Iowa Juvenile Detention Center on charges of 5th degree criminal mischief. He was held in custody at the center.
01/01/21 - 1:26 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident in the 2000 block of Hwy. 218. A vehicle driven by Cheryl Nichole Fangman, 24, of North Liberty, lost control due to road conditions and rolled coming to stop on it's tires. Fangman reported minor injuries but refused medical treatment. No citations were issued.
01/02/21 - no time listed - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Michael Lee Andrew Shipp, 41, of Keokuk, at the sheriff's department on a warrant for assault. He was taken to Lee County Jail and released on bond.
01/02/21 - 3:45 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one-vehicle rollover on Hwy. 61.. A vehicle driven by Jared Michael Poole, 34, of Burlington was southbound and hit a patch of ice and lost control causing the vehicle to roll. No injuries or citations were reported.
01/03/21 - 10:41 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Shawna Lynn Sylvester, 35, of Denmark, at the sheriff's office on a warrant for failure to appear. She was taken to Lee County Jail and released.
01/04/21 - 2:56 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Randy Eugene Englebrecht, 61, of Keokuk, in the 3300 block of 243rd Avenue in Montrose, on warrants for parole violation, failure to appear and a charge of driving while barred. He was taken to Lee County Jail and held.

Hancock County Sheriff's Report
12/28/20 - Dawn M Harr, age 50, of Keokuk, IA was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging her with Failure to Appear on original charges of Driving While License Suspended and Operating an Uninsured Vehicle. Harr was released after all charges were satisfied.
12/28/20 - David R Whitten, age 64, of Carthage, IL was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault to a Peace Officer, Aggravated Assault, and Resisting arrest. Whitten was released after satisfying bond and given a future court date.
12/31/20 - Brandon J Victor, age 27, of Hamilton, IL was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery and Resisting Arrest. Victor remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail awaiting his next court appearance.
01/01/21 - Reece T Maine, age 21, of Carthage, IL was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence. Maine was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
01/01/21 - Gregory A Shoup, age 37, of Carthage, IL was arrested and charged with Driving While License Suspended and Obstructing Justice. Shoup remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail awaiting his next court appearance.
