FMCH scholarship windows open

FORT MADISON - Fort Madison Community Hospital is now accepting scholarship applications for students pursuing a career in a medical field. FMCH sponsors three different scholarships: FMCH Foundation Kathleen Canella Family Scholarship; FMCH Foundation Tracey Howe Scholarship; and the FMCH Auxiliary Scholarship.

Each of these scholarships require different application criteria. The Kathleen Canella and the FMCH Auxiliary scholarships are available for high school seniors or recent high school graduates from Fort Madison High School, Central Lee High School, Holy Trinity Catholic High School or Keokuk High School. Non-traditional students and dependents of FMCH employees are also eligible to apply. The Tracey Howe scholarship is open to students planning to attend or currently attending Southeastern Community College in Burlington or Keokuk.

Scholarship recipients will be chosen based on grades, leadership, character, participation in community and school activities, and financial need.

Applicants can apply online by going to www.fmchosp.com/community-wellness/scholarships. It is important to review all criteria and documents necessary for consideration as incomplete applications will not be considered. Applications are also available at all schools mentioned above, please drop off or mail completed applications and supporting documents to the following address:
