Fort Madison Police Report
02/01/21 – 9:35 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1400 block of Avenue F.
02/01/21 – 11:50 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 5000 block of Avenue O.
02/01/21 – 2:46 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 1200 block of Avenue I.
02/01/21 – 3:58 p.m. – Fort Madison Police cited Adrianne Nicole Marquez, 34, of Fort Madison in the 2200 block of Avenue L, on a charge of driving under suspension.
02/02/21 – 5:49 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 2000 block of 303rd Avenue.

Lee County Sheriff’s Report
01/28/21 – 4:07 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 61 near 255th Street. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Cassie Shaffer, 32, of Fort Madison was making a westbound turn onto 255th Street when her vehicle was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Jonathan Wayne Eid, 28, of Fort Madison. No injuries were reported. Shaffer was cited for no insurance.
02/02/21 – 9:21 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Chance Jacob Sonnenburg, 22, of Kahoka, Mo., at the Clark County Jail on a warrant for probation violation. He was held in custody.

Those listed above are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Fort Madison Fire & Rescue Report
02/01/21 – Fort Madison Firefighters responded to two medical calls and one assist.
