City looking for Band Committee members

FORT MADISON - A meeting will be held at Fort Madison City Hall at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 18, for persons interested in serving as City Band Committee members for the 2021 Concert Season.

The City Band has provided 90 years of free concerts to the public, and needs committee members who will keep this tradition going. Members will help with planning special events at the concerts, marketing/advertising, and fundraising.

This is a short-term commitment from mid-March through July. Anyone who is interested can attend the meeting on February 18 or can contact City Clerk Melinda Blind at Fort Madison City Hall, phone at (319) 372-7700, ext. 206, or email atmblind@fortmadison-ia.com.
