2/12/21 - 6:46 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident in the 1600 block of Hwy. 218. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Barbara Kali Kircher, 30, of Keokuk, was headed southbound on Hwy. 218 passing a disabled semi and struck part of the truck's blow tire. No injuries or citations were reported.
02/12/21 - 7:17 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested David Allen Laws, 39, of Hamilton, at the sheriff's dept., on a warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to Lee County Jail and released on bond.
02/12/21 - 8:52 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one vehicle accident in the 2200 block of West Point Rd. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Chase LeeRay Helenthal, 26, of Keokuk, was southbound when he lost control on snow conditions and slid into the ditch. No injuries or citations were reported.
