FMMS 7th graders get wins
FORT MADISON – Thursday night Fort Madison the 7th grade girls basketball team beat Fairfield 35-19.  Dayonna Davis was the leading scorer with 25 points, followed by Mara Smith with 6.  Halle Menke and Jaycee Fullenkamp each scored two points.  Davis led in rebounds with 10 and Hadley Wolfe handed out five assists.
Fort Madison won the B game 17-12.  Jaycee Fullenkamp led the scoring with eight points followed by Dynasty Bell-Washington with five points. Ellie Huebner and Kayreena Sterling each scored two.  Bell-Washington led in rebounds with seven. 
Earlier in the week the 7th grade Lady Hounds beat Burlington in the A game 36-29.  Davis led in scoring with 20 followed by Mara Smith with 10. Halle Menke, Ellie Huebner, and Jaycee Fullenkamp each chipped in two points.  Menke led in rebounds with eight. Hadley Wolfe added five assists.
Fort Madison also won the B game 17-2. Bell-Washington led the Hounds with 8 points, followed closely behind by Addison Rump with seven.  Jaycee Fullenkamp added two points to finish the scoring.  Avery Rump led in rebounds with five.
The A team is 6-1 on the season and the B team is 5-1.

FM eight graders down Fairfield
FORT MADISON – Thursday night the FMMS 8th grade A Team won 42-34 over Fairfield The Little Hounds are currently 6-0 with three games remaining next week.
Dayton Lamar had 18 to lead Fort Madison. Aiden Mitchell had 10, while Julian Dear scored eight, Brody Cashman had five and Caden Barnes chipped in with one.
FMMS B Team lost to Fairfield  29-15. Hunter Cooke had seven to lead Fort Madison. Jake Ehlers tossed in four, while Chandler Fullenkamp and Kaleb Heidbreder each had two.

HTC and Central Lee boys split
FORT MADISON – The Holy Trinity Catholic 8th graders downed Central Lee 51-12 Thursday night behind 14 points each from Adam Sobczak and Luke Hellige. Six other Crusaders scored behind Mason Kruse’s six 2nd quarter points.
Brayden Wyrick had all 12 points for Central Lee including two 3-pointers.
In the 7th grade game, Central Lee won 31-17.
Owen Swan had 11 points for the Hawks and four assists. Frankie Jenkins and Caleb Larson each had six points in the win.
Layne Rung had seven for HTC, Blake Mohrfeld and Nathan Box each had four,
