Morrison and Randolph named to 2nd team in South Division

Central Lee's Mya Merschman was named Co-Player of the Year in the Southeast Iowa Superconference South Division last week.
Merschman, who received the honor with the state's top scorer Isabel Manning, scored 607 points in her senior year. That total was second behind Manning's 665.
Merschman led the Hawks to a 13-9 year (7-6 in the SEISC South Division and a regional semifinal loss to West Burlington.
Joining Merschman was the Hawk's Makayla Morrison who received 2nd team all-conference honors. Holy Trinity's Kassi Randolph joined Morrison on the 2nd team.
Holy Trinity freshman Mary Kate Bendlage, and Natalie Randolph received honorable mention, while the Hawks' Macy Watkins and Alivia Myhre also received honorable mention.
Coach of the Year was WACO's Lisa Graber in the south division. W-MU's Mitch Wachs was the north division coach of they year. Louisa-Muscatine's Kylee Sanders was player of the year on that side.
