Dorinda “Dee” White, 64, of Keokuk, IA, died Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, IA.

     She was born on December 25, 1956 in Keokuk, IA, the daughter of John Joseph and Jackie Burnett Stark.   She married Harold White and he survives.

     She is also survived by two daughters, Briana White of Keokuk and Dana Garrelts of Columbus, OH, one step-son,  Tanner White of Keokuk,  five grandchildren, Timothy Elder and Gage Elder both of Keokuk, Toby Garrelts of Mansfield, OH, Daniel Garrelts of Tucson, AZ, and Zack Garrelts of Columbus, OH, two great-grandchildren, Jordan Garrelts and Kaiden Stanley both of Mansfield, five brothers, Larry Brewer, David Brewer, Ricky Brewer, Ron Brewer and Joey Fichtenkort,  five sisters, Kathy Crowell, Rena Rose, Pam Whitaker, Sandy Brewer Conn and Carla Fichtenkort,  many nieces and nephews and several life-long friends.

     She was preceded in death by her father and step-mother, John and Florence Stark, her mother and step-father, Jackie and Joe Fichtenkort, two brothers, John Brewer and Bob Brewer and her son-in-law, Stacy Kinkeade.

     Dorinda owned her own cleaning business for thirteen years and provided excellent cleaning services to many factories and homes in the area.

     She was a member of God’s Way Christian Center in Keokuk.

     Dorinda loved to be outdoors and enjoyed working in her yard and planting flowers every spring season.  She loved to collect and fill her house with knick-knacks.  In her younger days she was very adventurous and could drive just about any type of heavy machinery.  She loved spending time with her dog, her faithful and loyal companion, Bacca.

     A Memorial Service will be held at noon on Thursday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk with Pastor Beverly Ailes officiating.

     Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11 am – 12 noon at the funeral home with the family meeting with friends at that time.  Masks are required and social distancing is strongly encouraged.

     A time of food and fellowship with the family will be held following the service at the Southside Boat Club in Keokuk
