Fannie Elinore Cummins, age 95, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, amateur actress and artist, believer in the great love and authority of Jesus Christ, left for her heavenly home on October 12, 2020. Fannie was born in Kansas City, MO, and raised in Fort Madison, Iowa. Her parents were Charles Samuel Cummins and Anna D. Barr. Her first American ancestors were William Cummins who arrived from Ireland in 1716, and Jacob Baer, who arrived from Switzerland in 1728. She was a devout Christian and a feisty person who loved parties, dancing and the arts. She was married to architect Chris Ramos of Kansas City for 35 years and raised six daughters. After a ten-year period filled with work at prestigious Halls department store, fun trips with her bible study girlfriends, and helping her girls get started in life, she married Jack Ullrich from her home town of Fort Madison. She met him at a high school reunion and, many beautiful love poems later, married him at Colonial Presbyterian Church. They lived together in Leawood, KS until advancing age moved them closer to their children. Fannie loved and supported the arts. She was a Friend of Jazz, Friend of the Nelson Art Gallery, and Friend of various theatres in Kansas City. For several years, she performed children’s plays with Tomahawk Players, a small company of energetic and creative women. She loved to paint and kept this up throughout her busy life. She deeply loved her family and her many close friends. She is pre-deceased by Chris Ramos and Jack Ullrich, her sister, Virginia Geisendorfer, and her brother, Jaimie Cummins. She is survived by her children, Chris Whitaker, Clare Ramos, Stacy Webb, Penny St. John, Connie Carrell, and Mary Ramos Oden, her half-brother Casey Allen and step-children Jane Greer and Walter Ullrich. Her grandchildren are Tyler Cowdry, Will (Tara) Cowdry and his son Lawrence, Peter Thomas (Madeline), Jesse Thomas (April) and his daughter Audra, Dario Ramos, Helen Webb, Hugh Webb, Elinore Webb, Llewyn St. John, Joseph Carrell, Wyatt Oden, and Lucy Oden. She was an active member of Cure of Ars Catholic Church and later, Colonial Presbyterian Church. She is truly missed
