FORT MADISON - Fort Madison Community Hospital (FMCH) will no longer require an appointment for community members to use the indoor walking track. This change will be effective Monday, March 22, 2021 at which time walkers will no longer need to call to schedule an appointment time to walk.

The indoor walking track, located in the FMCH Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, will be open for public use Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

COVID-19 restrictions will continue to apply.  All walkers need to enter through the Outpatient Rehabilitation Services Center and be screened for COVID-19.  Masks are required and social distancing will be enforced.  Walkers are discouraged from loitering in the facility while on campus and they must stay on the walking track.  Walkers are also asked to avoid parking in patient parking spots next to the Rehab building.

The outdoor walking path around the pond at FMCH is also maintained for public use.
