Deputies arrest Keokuk man on exploitation charge

LEE COUNTY - The Lee County Sheriff's Office reports the arrest of a Keokuk man on a felony charge.

Stone Fylip Shoup, 25, of Keokuk was arrested on Friday at the Lee County Sheriff's Office.

Shoup was arrested and charged with sexual exploitation of a minor a Class D felony.

The arrest of Shoup stems from a tip provided to the Lee County Sheriff's Detectives by ICAC, Internet Crimes Against Children, and NCMEC, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The information indicated that Shoup had disseminated pornographic material depicting a minor engaged in a sex act.

The Keokuk Police Department and the Lee County Attorney's Office, assisted the Lee County Sheriff's Department in this investigation.

Stone Fylip Shoup is currently being held at the Lee County Jail awaiting his initial appearance . The defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
