03/24/21 - 8:10 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one-vehicle vs. deer accident in the 2000 block of Hwy. 103. A vehicle driven by Monte Lee Helenthal, 65, of Fort Madison collided with the deer eastbound. No injuries or citations were issued.
03/25/21 - 3:45 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jody Everett Zohfeld, 43, of Keokuk, at the Lee County Jail on a judgment hold. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
03/25/21 - 4:08 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident in the 2000 block of Hwy. 218. According to reports a vehicle driven by Michael James O'Hara, of Bono, Ark., struck a coyote, causing a fire in the engine that engulfed the vehicle. Donnellson Fire & Rescue assisted. No injuries were reported.
03/25/21 - 7:03 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Renny Joe McCarty, 30, of Birmingham, Iowa, on a warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
