HTC boys 5th, girls 6th at Danville JH meet

DANVILLE - Luke Hellige took first place in the boys discus at the Danville Junior High Track meet Tuesday night to lead HTC.

Hellige's spin of 87-10.5" was best on the day. Nathan Box through 77-4" for fourth place and Brayton Schneider hurled the discus 67-5" for 10th place.
Spencer Barnes took 3rd in the shot at 30-3" and Hellige was 4th with a heave of 29-10".

Other top 10 finishes for the Crusaders were: 100-meter dash Cade Goodrich 13.50 (3rd), Brayton Schneider 15.37 (9th). 400-meter dash - Layne Rung of Holy Trinity 1:11.39 (6th); 1600-meter run Tate Green 6:02.19 (2nd): 4x200 relay 2:02.79 (4th); 200-meters - Schneider 31.51 (9th); 800 SMR 2:11.68 (4th); 4x100 relay 59:26 (5th).

For the HTC girls Ellie lake took 2nd in the discus with a throw of 60-11. The 4x200 meter relay team captured fourth place with a time of 2:20.75.

Other top 10 finishers for the Lady Crusaders were: Long Jump - McKayla Schinstock 11-7.5" (7th)
100-meters Ellie Lake 15.01 (5th), Lia Fullenkamp 15.20 (6th), McKayla Schinstock 15.40 (9th): 200-meters Ellie Lake 33.46 (5th), Isabella Wheatley-Behne 35.64 (9th), Sarah Menke 36.16 (10th): 800 SMR 2:37.71 (6th)
