04/10/21 - 12:07 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident in the 2100 block of West Point Road. According to the report a vehicle driven by Katherine Elizabeth Scheirbrock, 23, of West Point, lost control trying to avoid several deer, left the roadway and crashed into a fence on the east side of the road. No injuries or citations were reported.

Rivers remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail in lieu of bail awaiting his next court appearance.
