Glenna “Audrey” Ramaker, 89, of Keokuk, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa.

Audrey was born on November 8, 1931, in Cresco, Iowa, the daughter of Earl H. and Evelyn M. (Woodson) Miller. She was born on her brother Larry’s birthday, and she always told him she was the best birthday present he ever received. On December 30, 1950, she was united in marriage to Robert Charles Ramaker in LeRoy, Minnesota. He preceded her in death on October 12, 2014.

Audrey was a member of Evangelical Free Church in Keokuk and was employed at Shaffer Pen for twenty-six years. She had a magnetic personality and a wonderful sense of humor, and loved her family above all else. She never missed her grandchildren’s sporting events, and enjoyed hosting family events. Audrey had many hobbies, including all kinds of dancing, shopping, cooking, baking, and after retirement, traveling with her family and friends. She was known for her impeccable sense of style and her crafting abilities. Audrey was very involved in her church and women’s group and had a lifelong faith in Christ.

Audrey is survived by her son Gary (Marsha) Ramaker of Keokuk; four grandchildren: Jason, Drew, Rob and Jamie; eleven great-grandchildren: Bobby, Ben, Reid, Bryce, Dakota, Ethan, Evie Nariyah, Bryant, Gianni and Maliah; her brother Robert (Shirley) Miller of Gillette, Wyoming; her daughter-in-law Deanna Ramaker of Granbury, Texas; her close friends Ruth Davis, Jean Hawkins and Marsha Kavanagh; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Audrey is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert; her son Robert C. Ramaker, Jr.; and nine siblings: Larry Miller, Kenneth Miller, Valaria Tate, Eddie Miller, Raymond Miller, Fern Wroe, Lee Miller, Helen Ash and Franklin Miller.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, April 23, 2021, at DeJong-Greaves-Printy Funeral Home in Keokuk, with burial to follow at Keokuk National Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10 am to 1 pm, with family meeting friends from 11 am to 1 pm directly before the service.
