LEE COUNTY - The bi-weekly report of COVID data in Lee County has been updated to show current active case counts, the 7-day and 14-day positivity rating and the percentage of county residents fully vaccinated.
As of Tuesday morning, the county currently has 49 active cases with a 7-day positivity rating down from Friday's report at 1.9%. That means off all tests completed on county residents in the past seven days, 1.9% came back positive.
The 14-day positivity rate is 2.6%.
The county currently has just over a quarter of it's residents fully vaccinated at 25.4%.
Lee County Health Department officials continue to promote and recommend effective public health measures such as wearing face masks when in public settings, social distancing, washing hands frequently, staying home when ill, and choosing to be vaccinated if you are able.
The county data is taken from an Iowa Department of Public Health website and counts by number of individuals tested. The data shown on the state's coronavirus.iowa.gov website counts total tests regardless if they are for the same person, leading to slightly different reporting numbers.
