Fort Madison Police Report
05/07/21 - 8:05 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 1800 block of Avenue H.
05/07/21 - 11:28 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a hit and run in the 5100 block of Avenue O.
05/07/21 - 9:08 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a vandalism in the 2700 block of Avenue N.
05/08/21 - 4:42 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 1100 block of 13th Street.
05/08/21 - 7:06 a.m - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 800 block of Avenue G.
05/09/21 - 2:57 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 2200 block of Avenue L.
05/09/21 - 9:04 a.m. - Fort Madison Police cited Melody Ann Robinson, 49, of Fort Madison, in the 1100 block of Avenue F, on a charge of dog running at large.

Lee County Sheriff's Report
05/05/21 - 5:24 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident in the 2500 block of Hwy. 61. where a vehicle driven by Charles Richard Mayer, 38, of Fort Madison, had struck a one-way directional sign trying to turn southbound from Climax Road. No injuries or citations were reported.
05//07/21 - 8:07 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a three-vehicle accident on Hwy. 218 at the Central Lee entrance. According to the report a vehicle driven by Emma Marie Smith, 17, of Donnellson bumped into a vehicle driven by Samantha Lyn Walljasper, 31, of Donnellson, who in turn struck a vehicle driven by Lizann Renae Vineyard, 16, of Farmington, as all three waited to turn into the Central Lee school. Smith was cited for following too closely, no injuries were reported.
05/07/21 - 11:13 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jeremiah Johnson Turner, 23, of Fort Madison, at the sheriff's office on a warrant for voluntary absence from custody. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
05/09/21 - 3:16 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Melissa Dawn Nelson, 38, of Fort Madison, at the sheriff's office on a warrant for violation of probation. She was taken to Lee County Jail and released on bond.
05/10/21 - 5:59 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested James William Hopp, 41, of Donnellson, at the sheriff's office on a judgment hold. He was taken to Lee County Jail.

Hancock County Sheriff's Report
05/03/21 - Richard M Levario, age 46, of LaHarpe, IL was arrested on a Dallas County, TX Warrant charging him with Indecency with a Child. Lavario remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail in lieu of bail awaiting extradition to Texas.
05/05/21 - Jennifer I Harl, age 55, of Dallas City, IL was arrested and charged with Possession Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Harl was released on her own recognizance and given a future court date.
05/08/21 - Gary T Graham, age 70, of West Point, IL was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence. Graham was released after posting the required bond and given court da:e.
05/08/21 - Eric K Thomas, age 28, of Carthage, IL was arrested on a Hancock County Warrant charging him with Violation of Order of Protection. Thomas was also arrested on an Illinois Department of Corrections Warrant charging him with Parole Violation. Thomas remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail awaiting his initial court appearance.
05/09/21 - Shelli R East, age 49, of Augusta, IL was arrested on an Adams County Warrant charging her with Failure to Appear original charges of Possession of Controlled Substance. East was released after posting the required bond and given a future court date.
05/09/21 -Crystal A Laktas, age 41, of Keokuk, IA was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence, Fleeing and Eluding, and Driving While License Suspended. Laktas remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail in lieu of bail awaiting her initial court appearance.
05/09/21 -Heather Joy Lefler, age 41, of Keokuk, IA was arrested and charged with Possession o: Methamphetamine, Driving While License Suspended, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Hypodermic Needle. Lefler remains lodged in the Hancock County Jail in lieu of bail awaiting her initial court appearance.
