LCHD sets up Pfizer clinic for 12-18 year olds

FORT MADISON - Lee County Health Department will be hosting a COVID-19 vaccine clinic for those ages 12-18 wanting the Pfizer vaccine on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 8:30-4:00 at LCHD offices, #3 John Bennett Drive, Fort Madison. This is an open clinic, no appointment necessary, with 120 doses available.

“After receiving numerous inquiries about the Pfizer vaccine for this population we reached out to a neighboring public health department and the state health department for redistribution of Pfizer vaccine to hold this specialized clinic,” states Michele Ross, LCHD Administrator. 

Pre-registration paperwork and the Pfizer Emergency Use Authorization Fact Sheet for the June 2nd clinic can be found at www.leecountyhd.org.  A parent or legal guardian is required to be present with a minor and sign consent for the Pfizer vaccination.   Masks are requested when attending the clinic.  For questions please call (319)372-5225.
