Linda L. Workman,70, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away at 6:44 p.m. on Friday, June 18, 2021 at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.She was born on October 11, 1950 in Fort Madison, IA to Frank & Irene Strope Smith.She married Gary Wayne Workman on February 24, 1971 in Fort Madison, IA.He preceded her in death on December 6, 2012.She was a bookkeeper for many years at Woolworth’s, Catfish Bend Casino, J. McCoy & Company and lastly at Armstrong Small Engine Repair.She enjoyed watching tennis, the Olympics, doing puzzles, playing cards, her dog and spending time with her grandchildren.

       Linda is survived by: 3-sons: Brett (Tammy) Workman of Fort Madison, IA, Marcus (Amber Colyer) Workman of Fort Madison, IA & Brandon Workman of Fort Madison, IA; 2-grandchildren: Brittany & Bryce Workman of Fort Madison, IA; 1-brother: Gerald (Rosie) Smith of Fort Madison, IA and her dog, Maverick.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1-brother: Bob Smith & 3-sisters: Shirley Lorton, Marilyn Rowley & Joanne Hoyer.

       Cremation has been entrusted to the care of King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory.  A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory.  A private family graveside service and burial will be held at Soldiers’ Circle in Oakland Cemetery with Rev.
