Lori Ann Lyman, 56, of Nauvoo, Illinois, passed away at 3:59 a.m. Saturday, June 19, 2021 at the Fort Madison Community Hospital, Fort Madison, Iowa. 

Lori was born on September 5, 1964 in Dunedin, Florida, the daughter of Roy and Carol (Haggard) Brindley. On July 31, 1982 she married James Lyman at the Grace Bible Church in New Port Richey, Florida. He survives. 

Lori enjoyed helping her husband in ministry and she enjoyed photography, collecting antique dolls and her pets. 

Survivors include her husband: James; six children: Charity (Chuck) Pettyjohn of Monroe, Georgia, Hope Lyman of Nauvoo, Josiah Lyman of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, Elijah (Katie) Lyman of Keokuk, Iowa, Modesty Lyman of Nauvoo and Mercy Lyman of Nauvoo; one grandchild: Bentley Lyman; her mother: Carol Brindley and siblings: David (Tracey) Brindley and Jennifer Brindley. Lori is also survived by her special dog: Paisley. 

Lori was preceded in death by her father. 

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Schmitz-Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Nauvoo, with Pastor James Lyman officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
