Fort Madison Police Report
06/23/21 - 8:15 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 1500 block of Avenue B.
06/23/21 - 9:31 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1600 block of Avenue G.
06/23/21 - 1:25 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 2000 block of Avenue I.
06/23/21 - 7:26 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 600 block of Avenue F.

Lee County Sheriff's Report
06/23/21 - 9:39 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident at Hwy. 61 and 175th Street. According to reports a vehicle driven by Robert James Young, 24, of Burlington executed a U-turn and struck the side of a vehicle driven by Rachel Elizabeth Hasenclever, 36, of Fort Madison. Young reported left insurance information and the scene. Citations are still possible pending the investigation. No injuries were reported.
06/23/21 - 10:44 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Daniel James Burke, 56, of Keokuk, in the 1500 block of Morgan Street in Keokuk, on a warrant for violation of parole. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
06/23/21 - 10:53 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Lindy Marie Bell, 33, of Keokuk, no location given, on a warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
06/23/21 - 5:58 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Simon Peter Burnett, II, 33, of Quincy, at the sheriff's office on a judgment entry. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
06/23/21 - 11:35 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Roy Michael Garza, Jr., 34, of West Burlington, at the sheriff's office, on a warrant for attempted murder. He was taken to Lee County Jail.

Those listed above are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
