James “Jim” T. Inghram, 74, of Montrose, passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 2:25 AM at his home. 

   He was born on September 19, 1946 in Burlington to G.H. “Hank” and Mary Lou Walsh Inghram.  On October 24, 2001 he married Kimberly Hornung in Montrose.  Jim was an electrician at Sheaffer Pen Co. and retired in 2006 after 30 years of service.  Jim served in the US Navy.  In his early years he enjoyed fishing, hunting and boating.  Jim loved spending time on the river.  He was an avid trap shooter and was a member of the Montrose Tri State Gun Club where he served as President for many different years and also Vice President.

   Survivors include his wife, Kim Inghram of Montrose; two sons, Jim “JP” (Lisa) Inghram of Ft. Madison and Joe (Vicky) Inghram of Milton, FL; five grandchildren, Kelson Inghram, Katie Sherman, Joshua Inghram, Victoria Nichols and Brayden Rudd; six great grandchildren; one step son, Bryan (Nicole) Rudd of Tampa, FL and one sister, Margaret (James) Nusbaum of Montrose;  two nieces and one nephew.   He was preceded in death by his parents.

   A celebration of life for Jim will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 5:30 PM at the Tri State Gun Club.   Per his wishes, cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory.
