Jeannie A. Hetzer,60, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away at 12:12 p.m. on Friday, August 13, 2021 at Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington, IA.She was born on July 8, 1961 to Clayton & Edith Cartnall Duncan.She married Robert Hetzer on September 5, 1981 in Fort Madison, IA.She was an assistant to Dr. Cutler at River City Ophthalmology for over 20 years.She was a member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, Hawkeye Football and spending time with her grandchildren.

       Jeannie is survived by: her husband: Robert Hetzer of Fort Madison, IA; 1-daughter: Erika (Tyler) Pleggenkuhle of Knoxville, IA; 1-son: Drew Hetzer of Swisher, IA; 3-grandchildren: Riley, Natalie & Colbie Pleggenkuhle; 1-sister: Suzanne Smith of Chattam, IL; 1-brother: Roger (Mary Ann) Duncan of Altoona, IA; her mother-in-law: Betty Hetzer of Fort Madison, IA and 4-nieces.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law, Jack Hetzer.

       A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at First Baptist Church with the funeral service to immediately follow at 10:30 with Rev.
