Milo Henry Schrader, 78, Farmer’s Branch, TX and formerly of Montrose, IA, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at T. Boone Pickens Hospice & Palliative Care Center in Dallas, TX.  He was born on November 29, 1942 in Fort Madison, IA to Clifford & Margaret Mewes Schrader.  He was a truck driver for many years and enjoyed model building and spending time with his grandchildren.

       Milo is survived by: his companion: Janice Palmer of Farmer’s Branch, TX; 1-daughter: Stephanie Essmaker of Thornton, CO; 3-sons: Terry (Debbie) Schrader of Donnellson, IA, Mike (Nikki) Schrader of Keokuk, IA & Barry (Brenda) Schrader of Donnellson, IA; 11-grandchildren; 4-step grandchildren & 7-great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by: his parents, 1-granddaughter, 2-brothers & 1-sister.

       Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 6, 2021 with the family to receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday evening at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory.  The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory.  Burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery in rural Fort Madison, IA.  A memorial has been established in Milo’s memory.  Condolences to the Schrader family may be left at the King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory website: www.kinglynk.com.
