Bobbi “BJ” Jean Valentina (Bradley) Halemeyer, 42, of Fort Madison, Iowa, formerly of Keokuk, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.

Bobbi was born on August 9, 1979, in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Robert, Sr. and Linda (Florence) Bradley. She graduated from Keokuk High School in 1997, later graduating from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and a Master’s in Economics. On March 1, 2019, she was united in marriage to Randy Halemeyer in Keokuk, Iowa.

Bobbi was employed at several area companies before going to work at Blessing Hospital in Keokuk. She started in registration, moving to pre-access specialist and later accounting. One of her favorite hobbies was going out to eat with Randy and finding new places to dine. She enjoyed spending her free time cooking, reading, dress shopping, going to the casino and playing Bingo with her mother. Bobbi will always be remembered for her authentic and kind personality. She was a virtuous and moral woman, always giving to and taking care of those around her. She was always well-intentioned and would never hurt anyone. Her sweet and gentle spirit will forever be missed.

Bobbi is survived by her husband Randy Halemeyer of Fort Madison; her brother Robert Bradley, Jr. of Omaha, Nebraska; her niece and nephew Reagan and Rhyson Bradley of Omaha, Nebraska; her step-daughter Laura (Bryan) Nesheim of Fort Madison; and her step-son James Halemeyer of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Bobbi is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

A homegoing celebration will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at New Bethel Church in Keokuk, with burial to follow at Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk. Visitation will be held at the church from 1 to 3 pm on Saturday directly before the service.
