Blaine Dean Martin, 58, of Farmington, Iowa, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 at his home.
Blaine was born on November 23, 1962, in Fort Madison, Iowa, the son of Eathen and Linda (Lamborn) Martin. He is divorced.
He is survived by his son: Eathen Martin; daughter: Johni Martin; brother: Ken (Anne) Martin; sister: Beth (Jeff) Vineyard, several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Blaine was a 1981 graduate of Harmony High School. He was employed at ConAgra Foods. He was a member of the UFCW #617. Blaine was a past member of the Farmington Fire Department and Farming Rod & Gun Club. He coached Pony League, enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching Westerns. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds, St. Louis Cardinals, and Iowa Hawkeyes fan.
Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. at the Schmitz Funeral Home Farmington. Family will meet with friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at the Greenglade Cemetery, with Scott Butler officiating. Blaine’s service will be posted to his obituary “Tribute Wall” on our website following at:www.schmitzfuneralhomes.com.
A memorial has been established in his memory.
