Williamsburg dominates Hawks in first half

WILLIAMSBURG - Williamsburg scored 55 points in the first half to get a running clock early and set the tone in a 62-0 win over Central Lee in Friday high school football action.

The 1-3 Raiders put up 21 points in the first quarter and then responded with 34 in the second to run away with the game.

Freshman Kayden Calfee was 4 of 8 for 41 yards and no interceptions on the night. Senior Bryce Finney had three catches for 33 of Calfee's 41. Finney was also 1 of 7 throwing for three yards and had a pick.

Finney, Calfee and Chase Johnson all had carries for Central Lee (0-4). Max Doty and Gregory each had a catch.

Sophomore Hunter Gregory had four rushing attempts for 17 yards and led the Hawks with 5.5 tackles on the night. Grant Myhre had five tackles.

Central Lee hosts Mid-Prairie (1-3) next Friday in Donnellson.
