Dop earns Independent Insurance Agents recognition

WEST POINT - Erin Dop, AINS, AU, AAI of West Point, Iowa, was recognized at the Independent Insurance Agents of Iowa’s Annual Convention recently held September 16th in Altoona, Iowa as the 2021 Young Insurance Agent of the Year. The award is presented annually to Iowa insurance professionals 40-years old or younger who demonstrate leadership within the insurance industry and their community. The Independent Insurance Agents of Iowa represents almost 590 member agencies in the state and over 12,000 licensed insurance agents. The organization serves the business interests of insurance agents who represent multiple insurance companies selling all lines of insurance.

Mrs. Dop was recognized for her leadership in her community and the insurance industry.  Erin is affiliated with Fullenkamp Insurance Agency, Inc in West Point, Iowa, an independent insurance agency.

She began her career as a commercial underwriter at United Fire Group in Cedar Rapids, Iowa after completing her college education at The University of Iowa in 2015.  When she joined the agency in 2018, Erin became licensed in personal and commercial coverages as well as life and health coverages.

Throughout her time at the agency, Erin has been active and involved in the insurance association, volunteering her time to the IIAI on the education, young agents and convention planning committees.
