Parade of Lights work begins Monday

FORT MADISON - The Parade of Lights committee will begin working on parade floats on Monday, October 4th at 5:30 pm at the warehouse on the south side of 12th and Avenue I. Work nights will continue every Monday evening from 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm until the Parade of Lights on November 26th.

With over 40 floats, there is a lot of work to be done.  Each float is checked over for lights that are out or unclipped, wheels that need replaced, welds to be redone and over all maintenance. Join in on the fun of being part of the magic of the Lighted Parade by helping with float repair.

Volunteers can enter the warehouse on the south side of the building at 12th and Avenue I.
