Task force arrests FM woman on drug charges

LEE COUNTYMichelle Decker, 36, of Fort Madison, Iowa was arrested on October 1st, 2021 at her residence in the 1900 Block Ave. F in Fort Madison, Iowa for felony and misdemeanor charges.

Decker is charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver more than 5 grams of methamphetamine, 2nd or Subsequent Offense within 1,000 feet of a Public Pool a Class B Felony; Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana 2nd or Subsequent Offense within 1,000 feet of a Public Pool a Class D Felony; Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd or Subsequent Offense- Cocaine a Class D Felony; 2 counts of Drug Tax stamp violations each a Class D Felony; Maintaining a Drug House an Aggravated Misdemeanor; Child Endangerment an Aggravated Misdemeanor; Unlawful Possession of Prescription Medication a Serious Misdemeanor, and Possession of Drug paraphernalia a Simple Misdemeanor.

Decker

The arrest of Decker stems from an ongoing investigation by the Lee County Narcotics Task Force into allegations that she was involved in the distribution of illegal drugs from her residence.

The Fort Madison Police Department, Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Department Narcotics Enforcement and the Lee County Attorney’s Office, assisted the Lee County Narcotics Task Force in this investigation.

The defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. The Lee County Narcotics Task Force is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Justice and the funds administered by the Iowa Governor’s Office of Drug Control Policy.
