Francis “Frank” Charles Lawler III, 59, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away at 10:13 a.m. on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in Fort Madison. He was born on November 25, 1961 in Fort Madison, IA to Francis & Lois A. Hansen Lawler II. He married Janet S. Staub on November 18, 1999 in Carthage, IL. He was a truck driver when he was younger, a respiratory therapist and later he did the motor route for the Fort Madison Daily Democrat. He was an amateur weather enthusiast and enjoyed fishing and his animals.
Frank is survived by: his wife: Janet Lawler of Fort Madison, IA; his father: Frank Lawler II of Keokuk, IA; his aunt/mother: Rose Marie Henderson of Montrose, IA; 1-sister: Dr. Jennifer Lawler of Argyle, IA; 4-brothers: Ben Lawler of Fort Madison, IA, Daniel Lawler of Fort Madison, IA, James (Gina) Henderson Jr. of Cedar Hills, TX & John (Anna) Henderson of Las Vegas, NV; 1-niece: Meagan Lawler & 1-nephew: Michael Lawler. He was preceded in death by his mother and 1-brother, Joseph Henderson.
Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021 with the family to receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Andrew Wiese officiating. Burial will be held at Oakland Cemetery in Fort Madison. A memorial has been established in Frank’s name.
