Fort Madison Police report
10/27/21 – 4:20 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 800 block of Avenue D.
10/27/21 – 1:39 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Brian Lee Scott Ray, 32, of Fort Madison, in the 1200 block of 35th Street, on a charge of public intoxication. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/27/21 – 2:09 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 800 block of Avenue D.
10/27/21 – 3:26 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 2000 block of Avenue B.
10/27/21 – 4:41 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 1200 block of Avenue I.
10/27/21 – 5:30 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of vandalism in the 1900 block of Avenue M.

Lee County Sheriff report
10/27/21 – 8:51 a.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Desiree Lynn Bishop, 28, of Mt. Pleasant, at the sheriff's office on a charge of possession of a controlled substance - 1, 2, 3rd. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/27/21 – 12:58 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Joslyn Jo Hawk, 24, of Donnellson, at the intersection of 39th Street and Avenue L, on warrants for voluntary absence from custody and judgment hold. She was taken to Lee County Jail.
10/27/21 – 4:45 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 3400 block of 265th Avenue. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Millie Jo Larson, 15, of Keokuk was backing out of a driveway onto 265th Avenue and did not see the vehicle driven by Joseph Rollie Mortimer, 27, of Keokuk, traveling southbound on 265th Avenue. Mortimer's vehicle struck Larson's vehicle. Mortimer's vehicle had to be towed from the scene. Larson was cited for failure to yield exiting the driveway. No injuries were reported.
10/27/21 – 5:10 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Scott Allen Gilman, 53, of Fort Madison, in the 700 block of Avenue F, on warrants for a judgment hold and simple assault. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
