Jesse Franklin "Frank" Foglesong, Jr. , age 77, of Quincy, Illinois, formerly of Dallas City, Illinois, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the Illinois Veteran's Home in Quincy.
Frank was born on February 9, 1944 to Jesse Franklin Foglesong, Sr. and Kathryn Rebecca (Zern) Foglesong. Frank served his country June 1965 to June 1967. Upon returning home from his service, Frank worked at Winegard in Burlington.
Frank lived the majority of his life in Dallas City, until moving to the Illinois Veteran's Home. Frank enjoyed listening to country music and reading books.


Frank is survived by his two sisters, Frances Crupper of Ivesdale, Illinois and Ellen Poulter of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, formerly of Blandinsville, Illinois, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers-in-law and multiple aunts, uncles and cousins.
A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City.
A graveside service with Military Rites will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 6th at Harris Cemetery, near Dallas City.
