Fort Madison Police Report
11/01/21 – 9:42 a.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 800 block of 15th Street.
11/01/21 – 2:28 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 1500 block of Avenue H.
11/01/21 – 4:31 p.m. – Fort Madison police arrested Roy James Vowels, 32, of Fort Madison, in the 2600 block of Avenue L, on charges of 3rd degree criminal mischief, 3rd degree harassment, and disorderly conduct - fight/violence. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
11/01/21 – 7:49 p.m. – Fort Madison police cited Daryl Marie Honadel, 34, of Fort Madison, in the 4800 block of Avenue O, for driving under suspension.
11/01/21 – 9:33 p.m. – Fort Madison police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1800 block of Avenue D.

Lee County Sheriff's Report
11/01/21 – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to four accidents involving deer with no injuries reported.
11/01/21 – 6:15 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Joseph Duane Leeper, Sr., 45, of Keokuk, in the 300 block of North Park Drive, on warrants for 2nd degree theft greater than $1500, but less than $10,000 and 5th degree theft less than $300. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
11/01/21 – 7:24 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies responded to an accident in the 2500 block of Hwy. 218. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Brian Scott Williams, 42, of Cedar Rapids, was traveling on the highway when he got too close to the shoulder, lost control, and entered the ditch when his vehicle caught fire. The driver suffered a serious head injury and was transported to the hospital via EMS. The vehicle was complete burned and had to be towed from the scene. There were no citations reported.
11/01/21 – 11:50 p.m. – Lee County sheriff deputies arrested Adam Steven Hamilton Haskins, 41, of Gulfport, Miss., at the intersection of Hwys. 16 and 218, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of prescription drugs, no valid driver's license, and operating a non-registered vehicle. He was taken to Lee County Jail.
