Fort Madison Police report
11/08/21 – 8:31 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 1300 block of Avenue F.
11/08/21 – 8:39 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 1800 block of 33rd Street.
11/08/21 – 11:16 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident at the intersection of 18th Street and Avenue J.
11/08/21 – 11:19 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 5000 block of Avenue O.

Lee County Sheriff report
11/08/21 – 12:00 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff deputies arrested Tyler Jacob Summers, 31, of West Des Moines, in the 700 block of Avenue F, on a warrant for failure to appear/contempt of court.
11/08/21 – 8:44 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident at 277th Avenue and Mississippi Road. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Margaret Rose Davis, 73, of Keokuk, was traveling west on 277th Avenue when it slid through the stop sign at the intersection of 277th Avenue and Mississippi Road, striking a vehicle driven by Larry Edwin Beard, 64, of Hamilton, that was traveling north on Mississippi Road. Both vehicles had minor damage and were driven from the scene. No injuries were reported. Davis was cited for failure to maintain control.

Those listed above are arrested or cited on a suspicion of a crime and are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Fort Madison Fire & Rescue report
11/08/21 – Fort Madison firefighters responded to two vehicle accidents, one false alarm and two medical calls.
