Lori L. Menke, 52, of Roseville, Ill. died October 27, 2021, at her home with her husband and son by her side. She was born July 31, 1969, in Canton, Il the daughter of Charles F. and Shirley Joan (Lafary) Wust. She married Douglas Menke April 24, 1999.
Lori is survived by her husband Doug of Roseville, her son Gunnar Menke of Roseville, Il, her mother Joan Wust of Smithfield, Ill., and her two sisters Linda (Jim) Bainter of Peoria and Leigh (Don) Hines of Cuba, Ill., and by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Lori was a volunteer wish granter of the Make-a-wish Foundation for twenty years. She worked at Western Illinois R.O.T.C. Reserve officer training corps. She was an office manager at Big Brothers and Big Sisters in Peoria. Lori was a peer ambassador at Spoon River College. She was an EMT. Lori was highly active in her Cuba High School Reunions.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 30, 2021 at the Wise Family Funeral Home in Roseville, Ill. Visitation was held two hours prior to the service. Graveside services were be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown, Ill. Memorials may be made to the Make-a-wish Foundation. Online condolences may be made at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com.
