Ross goes for 27 at Lady Hounds win at Davis County

BLOOMFIELD - Senior Malarie Ross had 27 points and six other Lady Hounds scored as Fort Madison downed Davis County 58-43 Monday night.

Anna Lynk had nine points, while Camille Kruse and Irelynd Sargent each added six in the win. Kruse also led the Hounds with 10 rebounds and seven steals. Sargent had eight rebounds and five steals

Ross had six rebounds and six steals to go with her game-high scoring. Lynk had eight boards in the win.

Fort Madison also got five points from Aija Jenkins, three points from Alaina Simpson and a bucket from Coree James.

The Hound are 2-0 on the year and travel to Mt. Pleasant for a Southeast Conference clash Friday night.
