David L. Kruse, 66, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at his home.  He was born on August 27, 1955 in Fort Madison, IA to Joseph & Jeanne Wilkens Kruse.  He was a welder and enjoyed fishing, flying kites, shooting pool, playing poker, going to festivals, drinking a beer, and especially spending time with his grandchildren. 

Dave is survived by: his significant other: Brenda Daniels of Fort Madison, IA; 5-children: Rachael (Earl Vincent) Atwater of Niota, IL, Crystal (Scott Miller) Fields of Fort Madison, IA, Jessica (Jesse) Genck of Donnellson, IA, Damien (Memorie) Kruse of St. Joseph, MO & Paul Fields of Fort Madison, IA; 22-grandchildren; 1-great granddaughter on the way; 1-sister: Connie (Bob) Sylvester of Milton, FL; 3-brothers: Bernie (Kathy) Kruse of Reno, NV, Tim (Carol) Kruse of Des Moines, IA & Mike Kruse of Fort Madison, IA.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
