FORT MADISON - The Fort Madison Area Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee will host an evening reception, this Friday, January 21st 4:30-6:00 p.m. at RiverRocks Bar and Grill as they kick off the 2022 Legislative Session.

This reception is to provide the general public the opportunity to meet our Iowa legislators and hear what their directives are for the 2022 Session while representing us in Des Moines.

Social time will be from 4:30 p.m. - 5 p.m. and a question-and-answer will take place from 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. This is the only “in-person” meeting currently planned for the 2022 legislative session.

The remaining virtual dates are: February 18th, March 18th and April 15th with a wrap up meeting in May. These other dates will be held in conjunction with Keokuk Chamber of Commerce and will be virtual via Zoom.

Legislators invited to attend include State Sen. Jeff Reichman (R-Montrose), State Rep. Martin Graber (R-Fort Madison) and State Rep. Joe Mitchelle (R-Wayland).

Links will be made available closer to those dates. All these dates are subject to the availability of our legislators- due to commitments they have in Des Moines- and may be cancelled if they are unable to attend.

The Fort Madison Area Chamber of Commerce is an affiliate organization of Fort Madison Partners.
