Heidi Lynn Batley, 53, of Warsaw, IL, died Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.

She was born on July 5, 1968 in Davenport, IA, the daughter of William Alfred and Terril Lynn (Printy) Mead.  She graduated from Central Lee High School with the Class of 1986.

She married Travis Batley and they later divorced.

Heidi had been employed at Foam Fabricators and Boonies both in Ft. Madison, IA.

She enjoyed reading, cooking, playing the card game “Magic” and playing pool.  She loved to sing and had a beautiful voice.   She loved her dog, Maui, who was her faithful companion.  The greatest joy in Heidi’s life was spending time with her family and attending all their activities.

She is survived by two sons, Nick Marlin of Warsaw and Chris Batley, one daughter, Kaylee Batley, several grandchildren and one brother, Scott Mead of North Carolina.  She is also survived by family friends, David Marlin, Craighton Merschbrock, Andrew Inman and Taran Hunter who were like sons to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-father, Donnie Printy.

Services will be held at a later date.
