Sue Ann Turner, 88, of Keokuk, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at her home in Keokuk.

Sue was born on November 27, 1933, the daughter of George Feser and Mildred Lamb Feser Ketchum. On August 23, 1971, she was united in marriage to H. Raymond Turner in Fort Madison, Iowa. He preceded her in death on June 16, 2004.

Sue worked several places throughout her career and was most recently employed at Walmart as a greeter, working there until she retired at the age of eighty-five. She enjoyed spending her free time reading, visiting with her family, and rooting for her favorite sports teams, which included the Chicago Bears, the Fighting Illini, and Illinois high school basketball teams.

Sue is survived by her son George “Rick” (Barb) Altheide of Montrose, Iowa; her stepson Lavail Turner of Fort Madison, Iowa; several grandchildren including Eric Altheide, Beth (Keith Latham) Altheide and Dionna (Chris Carlson) Turner; and several great-grandchildren.

Sue is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond, her son Steve Boyd, her granddaughter Dani Altheide and her step-sister Donna Ulrich.

A graveside service will be held at 2:45 pm on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk. A procession to the cemetery will leave the funeral home at 2:30 pm. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1 to 2:30 pm at DeJong-Greaves-Printy Funeral Home in Keokuk.
