Steven Clark Chaney, 62, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at his home.  He was born on July 31, 1959 in Champaign, IL to William J. & Nancy A. Whitcomb Chaney.  He served in the U.S. Navy and enjoyed riding his unicycle, fishing, shooting pool, mushroom hunting and arrowhead hunting.  One thing about Steve was he always made people laugh and a had a story to share.  He lived life on his own terms.

       Steve is survived by: 1-daughter: Alea Moomey of Fort Madison, IA; 1-grandson: Jaxon Moomey of Fort Madison, IA; 1-brother: Bill Chaney of Fort Madison, IA; 3-sisters: Kathy (Russ Wallace) Hood of Gulfport, MS, Karen (Dick) Pieper of Fort Madison, IA & Doris Chaney of Pensacola, FL and his dog, Pikachu.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
